This user-friendly software platform is designed to program the company’s comprehensive line of industrial control products, making it easier to design and implement attractive and powerful user interface solutions.

Red Lion Controls Inc. announces the addition of a communications driver supporting the Omron STI G9SP safety controller. This new driver allows the company’s popular G3 Series HMIs, Data Station Plus and Modular Controller Series to monitor and control one or more Omron STI G9SPs. In addition, these Red Lion products add advanced protocol conversion, data logging, and web-based remote access to applications using Omron STI’s newest safety controller.

Red Lion Controls, Inc. announces a new sales office in Sprockhövel, Germany. Red Lion's full line of industrial control solutions—including HMI products, process controls, panel meters, sensors and software—were previously available in Germany through the company's broad distribution network. Red Lion has added local sales support to the previous sales structure in Germany, further embracing, expanding and showing commitment to the German market.

Red Lion Controls, Inc. announces a new Ethernet expansion card for the Data Station Plus and Modular Controller series products. The XCENET Ethernet expansion card allows operators to easily isolate machine level network traffic from the enterprise level network, benefiting both automation process engineers and IT managers. The engineer can simply assign a fixed IP address for the port connected to PLCs and drives, while the IT manager can either select their own IP address or use DHCP to configure the enterprise port. This allows for communication on separate networks, increasing platform functionality and flexibility.

Red Lion Controls, Inc. announces increased functionality and flexibility for their popular G3 Series Operator Interface family, now available with the new Ethernet expansion card, G3ENET. G3 Series HMIs already provide one Ethernet port and now users can add a second Ethernet port to increase bandwidth and separate networks. In addition to supporting ten simultaneous Ethernet protocols, the G3 Series HMIs with the G3ENET card provide unprecedented communication with devices on two distinct Ethernet networks simultaneously—without the need for an industrial router—saving both cost and configuration time. The expansion card can be easily fitted to any G3 series HMI with only a single Ethernet port.
