Parker Hannifin, has launched an innovative new Compact Electro-Hydraulic Actuator (EHA) that provides a complete, free standing actuation system for space critical, portable and remote applications. Offering unrivalled power, speed and durability, Parker's Compact EHA is a fully self-contained, double-acting actuator offering an exceptionally high power density at operating speeds of over 100mm/sec. This makes the new Compact EHA ideal for use as an alternative to conventional linear movement technologies such as electromechanical and pneumatic drives, in applications ranging from military and aerospace, to marine, construction and general industrial use.

AES Energy Storage has commissioned a 12MW frequency regulation and spinning reserve project at AES’ Los Andes substation in the Atacama Desert, Chile. The Industrial Division of Parker Hannifin, will showcase its latest nitrogen gas generator for the food sector at the Gulfood exhibition in Dubai on 21 – 24 February 2010. Industrial nitrogen gas generators provide a cost effective alternative to traditional bottled or bulk storage nitrogen sources in applications such as modified atmosphere packaging, purging, blanketing and pressure transfer.

Parker Hannifin Corporation today announced the retirement of Marwan M. Kashkoush, Executive Vice President – Sales, Marketing and Operations Support. Kashkoush, age 55, will remain in his current role through September 30, 2010 to allow for a structured transition of his responsibilities. During this transition, he will remain an integral member of the Parker Management Committee, and the Office of the Chief Executive.
