IMI Precision Engineering has expanded its range of pressure sensing technology solutions with the introduction of two new electronic pressure sensor options, which include IO-Link connectivity. The new IMI Norgren 54D and 34D Electronic Pressure Sensors can be used to automatically monitor pressure levels in a pneumatic system, or be used for more complex monitoring functions in water, hydraulic or all fluid applications.

Joining the ever-increasing ranks of component suppliers that provide comprehensive data for their products, IMI Precision Engineering has done via the EPLAN Data Portal. A web-based platform that can be used free of charge, the Data Portal gives specifiers and engineers instant access to high quality, standardised information and CAD drawings for electrical, mechanical, fluidic and pneumatic products.

To enhance its digital presence, IMI Precision Engineering has launched a new and improved website, providing engineers and maintenance managers with an even simpler way to access critical parts to keep their machines moving. The mobile enabled website has been launched in 20 languages to serve 34 countries and can be accessed through www.imi-precision.com, ensuring customers are never more than a few clicks away from the right part.

Advancing its portfolio of air preparation products, IMI Precision Engineering has introduced the lighter and smaller IMI Norgren Excelon Plus. The latest generation of air preparation equipment, Excelon Plus is a modular Filter, Regulator, Lubricator (FRL) range suitable for all industrial applications. Designed with safety in mind, it combines great performance and is compact and lightweight.

Plans to extend its IMI Buschjost flange valves range have been announced by IMI Precision Engineering, and are to begin spring 2017. Developed in accordance with the current version of the Pressure Equipment Directive, 2014/68/EU, the larger DN 65, DN 80 and DN 100 valves have been redesigned and are now available as new series 86480, 86500 and 86540.

With market leading flow rates on offer, almost unlimited configurations and a choice of connectivity to enhance customer applications, IMI Precision Engineering is upgrading the connectivity of its IMI Norgren VM and VS ranges of valve islands with PROFINET IRT and EtherNet/IP.
