The specialist provider, Develop Training Ltd (DTL), is celebrating after electricians on its courses achieved a 94% pass rate against the latest national wiring standard. Candidates from across the UK from some of the country’s biggest names in utilities and construction have been training with DTL to meet the new 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671:2018).

But DTL points out that school leavers give other reasons too, including that they don’t enjoy studying or don’t think they have the necessary academic skills for university.

Utilities sector training specialist Develop Training Limited (DTL) has announced details of two new training courses for electricians to comply with comprehensive new wiring regulations. BS7671 (IET Wiring Regulations) sets the standards for electrical installation in the UK and many other countries. Earlier this month the 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations were released, with a number of substantial updates from the 17th Edition.
