Brammer Buck & Hickman has announced a new supply contract with the Swift Group, incorporating a substantial number of industrial vending machines. The new contract utilises Brammer Buck & Hickman’s Invend service featuring 31 industrial vending machines across Swift’s two large sites at Mexborough and Cottingham in Yorkshire. 

As part of an investment project to improve the automation at its Wolverhampton National Distribution Centre, Brammer Buck & Hickman has recently completed a successful communication upgrade to its Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems, to ensure customers receive the goods they need when they need them.

Following significant investment in the UK market, Brammer Buck & Hickman opened a new engineering service centre in Aylesford, Kent. The centre offers a specialist workshop, repair and engineering services designed to reduce downtime and increase efficiency for customers nationwide. They also ran an opening and innovation day on 13th March to celebrate, which saw the centre being officially opened by Brammer Buck & Hickman CEO Mark Dixon.

PH and Brammer have combined to create IPH-Brammer a European-based distributor of industrial supplies. Advent International, which took Brammer private from the London Stock Exchange completed the acquisition of IPH to enable this combination. IPH-Brammer will draw on the complementary strengths of both businesses to provide customers with an expanded technical product range and offering, supported by an enlarged geographic footprint across Europe and strong brands such as Brammer, Minetti, Zitec or Orexad.  

Introducing an advanced oil mist lubrication system has resulted in potential annual savings of close to £3,000 for BSW Timber Dalbeattie, a major supplier of softwood.

Brammer has donated C-section belting to the Internal Fire Museum of Power ahead of its annual end of season “Crankup”.
