AMETEK Land will showcase its smart aluminium temperature sensors to achieve smart control and automatic alignment for autonomous operation and perfect aluminium production at Aluminium 2018, which will take place 9-11th October at Messe Düsseldorf, Germany. AMETEK Land will be found on Stand 14H48 in Hall 14. AMETEK Land’s will present its SPOT AL EQS, a spot pyrometer that runs complex embedded software algorithms for both temperature and emissivity outputs. 

A 3D printed leadscrew nut insert prototype service, is now offered from Haydon Kerk, a business unit of AMETEK Advanced Motion Solutions, as a way for machine builders to verify linear-motion design iterations quickly and more accurately.

AMETEK Power Instruments has announced the release of power quality recording for the JEMStar II Revenue Meter. The JEMStar II now combines industry-leading 0.05% accuracy for revenue metering with advanced power quality monitoring.  

An embedded linear displacement transducer (LDT) has been introduced by AMETEK Factory Automation, which includes shock and vibration resistance for demanding mobile hydraulic applications. With shock resistance of 1000Gs and vibration tolerance of 30Gs, the new GEMCO 958A transducer provides long life in extreme operating environments.

All the Certificates of Conformity for Ametek Land’s fixed spot and portable infrared thermometers have been standardised. AMETEK Process Instruments has introduced its third generation H2S/SO2 tail gas analyzer with significant reliability advances for control of the Claus sulfur recovery process. New features of the Model 888 Sulfur Recovery Tail Gas Analyzer overcome the three most common external failure modes encountered by Sulfur Recovery Units (SRU). 

A new series of high resolution instruments offering automated simultaneous surface and contour inspection has been introduced by Taylor Hobson, a unit of AMETEK Ultra Precision Technologies. The low noise axes and high resolution gauge of the Talysurf i-Series instruments assure measurement integrity, and a choice of gauge ranges provides versatility for a variety of applications.

A compact liquid cooling heat exchanger assembly that can dissipate over 10 KW of heat in demanding shipboard, and industrial applications has been introduced by AMETEK Rotron. The assembly mounts easily in the standard 19” (48.26 cm) racks used for many kinds of electronic equipment. It supports any installation with a liquid cooling loop.
