With an addition of an exciting new show zone, Connected Manufacturing, the UK’s biggest annual engineering gathering, Advanced Engineering 2017, will return to the NEC on 1st-2nd November. The event will have a dedicated new arena to exchange Industry 4.0 knowledge, ideas and technologies.

Their rigid construction, wide range of spindle speed and power options, and low-mass moving elements means the Sahos 5-axis machining centres from the Czech Republic are suitable for producing components from light materials. Aluminium, model board, plastics including varieties reinforced with carbon fibre and glass fibre, and composites and such as bonded honeycomb and multi-layer structures can all be machined accurately and with a high degree of efficiency.

Announcing the launch of the Enabling Innovation hub, in partnership with Magna International, is arguably the UK’s largest dedicated advanced engineering event- ‘Advanced Engineering’. The hub provides a free opportunity for 20 SMEs and innovators to showcase their latest concepts, products and processes to potential partners, investors and buyers from the industry.

Advanced Engineering 201 has announced a new partnership with The Manufacturer, published by Hennik Research. As part of the arrangement, The Manufacturer will bring its Smart Factory Expo to Birmingham’s NEC, on 2 & 3 November 2016, to run alongside Advanced Engineering.

A total mixing solution provided to Tanfield Foods by Advanced Engineering for a new line that came on stream in 2009 has resulted in a repeat order as the company plans to expand its production capacity yet again in 2010.
