NEW AC/DC HF TIG INVERTER WELDER FROM WELDABILITY-SIF

This light weight (12.5kg), single phase 230V, 13A, welding power source features IGBT (insulated gate bipolar transistor) technology, TIG Lift arc and HF (High Frequency) arc ignition for use in both AC (alternating current) and DC (direct current) modes.

This easy to operate machine can be switched between TIG and MMA welding and between HF and Lift arc ignition at the turn of two quick selection switches on the front panel. The smooth DC output is ideal for TIG and MMA welding of mild steel, stainless steel and copper, whilst the controllable AC output is ideal for TIG welding of aluminium and titanium alloys.

This power source has a current range between 5-200A and is rated 200A @ 24% duty cycle, whilst the built in gas solenoid, TIG torch switch socket and remote foot control option make it an excellent unit for a multitude of applications including fabricators and on-site repairers as well as car and vehicle restorers.

Other features include a high 100V OCV (Open Circuit Voltage) for MMA welding using a range of different electrodes including low hydrogen, cellulosic and aluminium electrodes, adjustable slope up and slope down current and gas timer control, TIG torch latching, manual pulse control and AC waveform adjustment. Overall it has an ‘Ingress Protection Rating’ of IP21 and includes protection against under and over-voltage, over current and thermal overload.

The TIG200 AC/DC HF is supplied as a power source only. A TIG welding torch kit including regulator, earth clamp and gas input hose is available separately, whilst a MMA welding torch and leads kit is also available.
