Sperian’s Lens Coating Technology Provides both Anti-Fog And Anti-Scratch
Sperian Protection has launched a new lens coating technology, Dura-streme, which enables the benefits of the industry’s leading anti-fog and anti-scratch coatings to be provided on opposite sides of the same lens.
Proprietary Sperian anti-scratch coating protects the outside of the lens, providing premium scratch and chemical resistance. On the interior of the lens, the robust performance of Sperian’s anti-fog coating, with its efficient water-repellent and hydrophobic combination of components keeps vision clear in environments where humidity and physical exertion are typical. Both coatings are permanently bonded to the lens for performance that lasts even after repeated routine cleanings.

“With Dura-streme technology, customers receive the benefit of anti-scratch lenses that can last longer. This specialised application of lens coatings provides optimal performance in environments where heavy physical exertion is typical and where heat, mist, sand, dust and chemicals are common factors.” said Nathalie Viallix, Marcom Director MBU EMEA Eye & Face protection, Sperian Protection.

Dura-streme technology is now available on selected models from Sperian’s Eye and Face Protection range of products: XC, Sperian Millennia, FitLogic spectacles and soon to b e announced DuraMaxx goggles.
