Sperian Protection Uk Appoints New Oil & Gas Business Development Manager

After nine years as a PGA Qualified Professional at Kinross Golf Club, Alistair started his career in the hardware industry as a Regional Sales Representative with DF Wishart, distributor of products (including PPE) for the professional building and DIY hardware markets. In 1996, Alistair moved to Totectors Ltd, protective footwear manufacturer, where he was Area Sales Manager for Scotland until 2003. Alistair then joined Bolle, manufacturer of protective eye wear, as Sales Manager for Scotland and the North East until 2005 when he joined Sperian Protection.

Alistair says of his appointment: “Sperian’s innovative products mean that it is already a strong competitor in the PPE market within the oil and gas industry. In my new role, I will be focusing on increasing this market share by targeting oil and gas refineries and contractors across the United Kingdom, and by getting closer to end users.”

Outside of office hours Alistair is, naturally, a keen golfer and enjoys taking his two dogs for walks along the beach. He also enjoys dining out, going on weekend breaks and spending time with his family and friends.
