Simufact Opens Training Center in China to Support the Integration of Simulation in Manufacturing Processes

The new Chinese training center is a part of Simufact’s global university cooperation program. The collaboration with the Shenyang Ligong University provides Simufact with a higher international visibility, especially in the Chinese market. The Shenyang Ligong University has a very good national and international academic reputation, employs 1,049 teachers, 149 professors, and offers its students and staff more than 1,000 laboratories. At present, the Shenyang Ligong University is attended by more than 40,000 students.

The newly established training center for process simulation was founded with the joint effort of Simufact Engineering GmbH, the company’s Chinese Distributor Sili-Tech Ltd., and the Shenyang Ligong University. It will be used to locally train process engineers and to support the academic and scientific work of the university in the area of process design. Simufact Engineering GmbH contributed to the center by providing its simulation solutions.

Simufact Engineering GmbH contributes to the new training center with a campus license for the university‘s faculty “Material Science and Engineering”. With this license the university will be able to do scientific work and to professionally train students in the area of process design. The training center will officially open in September 2011 with the start of the new semester.
