From a small industrial unit in Smethwick under the guidance of owner Pardeep Rajput (Raj), a businessman and engineer with over twenty-five years experience in power transmission related products, Parks GB had consistently proved to be Parvalux’s fastest growing distribution operation since it’s inception in November 2007.
While the UK fractional horsepower motors (sub 1kW) market has not been unaffected by the global financial challenges, the closure of Doncaster’s Crompton Electric Motors and the strategic acquisition of EMD Drive Systems of Halstead have helped Parvalux to weather the storm particularly well. Now with an estimated 40% share of the UK market, Parvalux have never been busier.
“With both operations doing so well it seemed logical for us to join forces” explains Parvalux Managing Director, Justin Levine “We put ourselves under a lot of pressure to meet demand soon after our acquisition of EMD and that highlighted a number of issues we knew we had to solve at the earliest opportunity. But while this acquisition is primarily designed to take the pressure off of our Bournemouth operations for rapid service and spares, it will also deliver a whole ream of additional benefits that our customers will appreciate: improved response times for standard and customised products, improved customer service, regional sales and stock holding, as well as acting as our UK repair and service centre.”
Raj, taking the position of Service Operations Director, will be managing the customer focussed Birmingham operation.
