P. D. Circuits Appoints Industry Veteran Frank Alberto as VP of Quality & Technology

P. D. Circuits, Inc., specializing in delivering the highest quality PCBs, technical support, and service to OEM and EMS companies worldwide, has appointed industry expert Frank Alberto as VP of Quality & Technology.

As VP of Quality & Technology, Frank is responsible for the successful implementation and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System. He will develop and maintain a supply partner base that is capable of meeting and exceeding the requirements of P. D. Circuits’ customers, including using his expertise to help partners improve yields and technology levels. Additionally, Frank is responsible for ensuring that the engineering team is up-to-date with current manufacturing technologies and that it has the resources to support customer demand.

Frank joins P. D. Circuits from Sanmina-SCI, where he worked for the last six years. He most recently held the title of VP of Quality, directing the quality management systems for six Sanmina-SCI PCB plants. Some of his most recent accomplishments include exceeding revenue forecasts every quarter and increasing top line by $1M each quarter, as well as increasing manufacturing output of the plant by 20 percent through the use of lean manufacturing techniques.

Mr. Alberto brings more than 29 years of experience in various engineering, quality, technical management, and supply management positions for leading high-technology interconnect manufacturers and OEMs. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering from the Worcester Polytechnic Institute, a Masters of Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, and a Certificate in Operations Management from the Darden Business School at the University of Virginia.
