The latest generation of Crane Electronics’ system software package features a fully encompassing range of functions including tool and joint management, tool repair/maintenance histories, torque auditing and device calibrations. Information on calibration and scheduled recalibration dates for production tools and auditing devices is also managed. This provides a much more efficient and traceable record.
The software assigns tools to processes and individual joints. It also offers the facility to certify tools, automatically collecting readings by connection to a tool controller via Ethernet and comparing them to the master calibration device. The user also has the opportunity to view the certification history.
The software is modular allowing the user to select the functions he requires for his particular application. It also offers the flexibility to customise each function and can be implemented across a whole network.
The software provides impartial tool management that can provide repair/maintenance records and associated costs for various makes of power and audit tools. Unbiased cost analysis reports can lead to potential savings in tool service costs.
