Joanna Canton appointed Marketing Communications Manager for Atlas Copco Compressors

Joanna has wide experience of Atlas Copco’s global activities and all aspects of marketing, corporate and internal communications. With a BA (Hons) degree in Modern Languages from Coventry University, Joanna started her career as marketing communications co-ordinator for Atlas Copco Compressors UK Ltd where she remained for five years.

In 2001 Joanna was appointed as Media Relations Manager at Atlas Copco Group Communications in Stockholm, Sweden, where she was also engaged in project management for a number of Group-wide activities in the areas of acquisition communications, sponsorship and employer branding.

For the past three years, Joanna has been Marketing Communications Director for Atlas Copco Construction and Mining Technique in Denver, Colorado, USA. During that time her role expanded to include responsibility for the communications activities of a second company, Atlas Copco Construction Equipment, embracing three product brands, Atlas Copco, Chicago Pneumatic and Dynapac.

In her new role at Atlas Copco Compressors UK Ltd, her communications portfolio will cover all aspects of the company’s exhibitions, advertising, press relations, promotional activity, branding, distributor support and electronic media.
