Interalia Upgrades Its XMU+ Announcement & Call Processing System With Message Manager

Interalia has further advanced its XMU+ next generation announcement; call processing and music/marketing-on-hold system with the addition of Message Manager. Now, XMU+ users can easily manage their message on multiple XMU+ systems directly from their desktop without a dedicated telephone line. Interalia has taken the power of remote telephone access and created a simplified message management tool that enables even non-technical staff to easily record, delete or play messages remotely from their desktop.
The Message Manager has a simple GUI interface and sound editing software. This makes it easy to cut, copy, paste or edit audio files, change message audio volumes, label messages for easy identification and even turn message on and off from any desktop. Messages can be pre-recorded in advanced using the offline feature and then updated on the XMU+ at a later date.
An integrated sound package is included so there is no need to purchase a separate software package for editing messages. The kit also includes audio editing software, and stereo headset with microphone.
Messages are easily recorded using the headset microphone, and are then automatically created in the right format using the Message Manager’s software. The software also enables professional recordings to be downloaded directly to the XMU+ and for the files to be automatically converted to the proper attachment format.
Multiple departments can share the same XMU+ because passwords ensure staff only have access to their specific department’s messages. Password protection ensures authorised personnel only update messages.
The inclusion of the Message Manager with the XMU+ takes this next generation announcement and call processing system to even greater heights. It fills the void between simple passive announcers and expensive voicemail or IVR systems. The standalone system is designed as a solution for any industry needing auto attendant, ACD announcements, music/marketing-on-hold, interactive audiotext, call processing and basic IVR functionality.
