Creaform wins prestigious 2017 IDEA award
Worldwide company in portable and highly accurate 3D measurement solutions and engineering services, Creaform hasannounced that its portable optical CMM solution and 3D scanners, which include the MetraSCAN 3D, C-Track and HandyPROBE Next,won Bronze during the International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA), a premier international design competition held each year by the Industrial Design Society of America (IDSA).
More than two dozen global design experts weighed in on products covering 20 categories. This year’s awards attracted hundreds of entries from design firms, companies, and universities hailing from 54 countries. The products were judged on their design innovation, user experience, benefits to clients as well as society, and aesthetics.

This award is a testament to Creaform’s ahead-of-the-curve approach to metrology and quality control as well as its product development prowess, which combines innovation, stellar design and unmatched user experience.”
Creaform’s portable optical CMM lineup also won the Red Dot: Best of the Best – Product Design 2016 for its quality and breakthrough design.
