BITZER has won the globally prestigious 2007 Frost & Sullivan Award for European Competitive Strategy Leadership. The presentation of the award was made to the company at the Excellence Awards Banquet held on 4 December at the Guoman Cumberland Hotel, London. Accepting the Award on behalf of BITZER were Peter Schaufler, Chief Executive Officer, Christof Senk, Managing Director, Hans Meurer, Chief Sales Officer, and Christian Wahlers, Chief Financial Officer.
The Frost & Sullivan Best Practices Programme honours organisations for industry excellence over the last year. The Competitive Strategy Leadership category recognises a company whose competitive strategy, amongst other things, has yielded significant gains in market share during the award period.
Bitzer, for its success in implementing a series of creative growth strategies to expand its share in the European refrigeration compressor market, won the award. Frost & Sullivan acknowledged that Bitzer had addressed a variety of challenges in the current compressor market “while constantly aiming for leadership in technological innovation, product range expansion and provision of customer service excellence.”
Bitzer UK’s Managing Director Christof Senk commented: “We are delighted to accept this Award on behalf of all BITZER employees in Europe. Everyone has made a major contribution to our continued growth and success.”
