Soft-touch operating elements developed for frequent tightening

Commonly known as ‘soft-touch’ the Elesa Grip knobs, control knobs and handles represent its ‘SOFT’ LINE, and have been developed for use on machinery and equipment requiring frequent tightening, or for applications subject to severe stress.

The major characteristics of ‘SOFT’ products are to ensure a safer and more stable ergonomic grip and to improve the comfort of the operator's hand thanks to their soft coating which allows the absorption of vibrations even under unfavourable environmental conditions such as humidity, dryness, heat, cold and grease.

They are suited to use with disability aids, high precision instruments, fitness machines, horticultural and agricultural machines – and provide a secure hold where unfavourable climatic or industrial conditions may lead to problems of slippage.

Soft touch grip knobs such as the cylindrical EGK.SOFT provide a firm grip by use of special concave mouldings and the soft elastomer coating which allow the most secure and comfortable operation, especially when using the ‘clicking’ facility, positional location with ball and spring. EBK-C SOFT is a matching spherical design of operating element for use as a grip knob or handle.

Elesa lobe knobs in the VCT.SOFT range are designed for use as clamping knobs for temporary fixing of equipment.
