Parker Hannifin’s AC30V series of variable speed AC drives combine ease-of-use with high levels of control for a wide range of applications including industrial pumps and fans where reliable, accurate motor speed control are key requirements. The AC30V series operates from a universal 400 / 500 VAC supply voltage and is designed and built to international standards to allow worldwide use.

Inmoco has expanded its Elmo Drum line of digital servo drives with the launch of Gold Drum HV. This is a 100A/800V, high-power, super compact, direct-to-mains drive, designed for the highest level of motion control application requirements. In terms of power output it extends the Drum range from 62kW up to 65kW.

Astrosyn have introduced a novel range of stepper motors. Although they are conventional hybrid stepper motors, their mounts are compatible with those found on permanent magnet stepper motors. This enables them to be easily incorporated into applications where PM motors would normally have been used.

Ex-stock availability is now offered by Lafert for its HPS high efficiency permanent magnet motors - a first for any European motor manufacturer. Motors can now be despatched at short notice for application and development projects. Stocks of the HPS in standard IEC frames are currently held at Lafert's French premises in Lyon.

The release of the MaxPlus-J motor from Parker is designed to cater for the demanding applications found in today’s high-performance servo systems. Now available from Micromech the MPJ motors offer the same design specifications as Parker’s popular MPP motors but give users even higher inertia. The secret to the MPJ’s extra boost of inertia is its special inertia flywheel, which adds from 3 to 10 times the inertia of a standard MPP servomotor.

The Aquatec THP 12Vdc high-flow diaphragm pump now available from Becktech offers a higher flow rate of 26 litres/min, which is 30% more than previous models thanks to a bigger motor. These self-priming pumps are designed for intermittent duty but may operate continuously for hours and can run dry for short periods.

Available exclusively in the UK and France from Mclennan Servo Supplies, the new STM23 range covers stall torque ratings between 88 Ncm and 148 Ncm from a 12 to 70 VDC supply in a smart package that includes motor, drive and control - for straightforward distributed installation that reduces time and cost over separate component solutions.
