All seminars are based around real case studies: no previous experience is necessary.

Participants can ask questions at the end of their session.

Fluke has introduced the Fluke 566 and Fluke 568 Thermometers, which feature advanced infrared (IR) temperature measurement functionality, a menu-based user interface and a graphical display to enable users to take even complex measurements quickly and easily and from greater distances. Fluke has introduced the Fluke 353 and Fluke 355 true-RMS Clamp Meters for accurate readings up to 2000A in industrial and utility applications, without the need to disconnect equipment. The rugged design and CAT IV 600V/CAT III 1000V safety ratings offer excellent protection in high voltage applications, enabling the checking of new installations, troubleshooting and the taking of accurate measurements on UPS and variable frequency drives with noisy loads.

Fluke has introduced the Fluke VR1710 Voltage Quality Recorder for single-phase power quality troubleshooting and preventative maintenance applications. Designed as an easy-to-use solution for detecting and recording power quality problems, the VR1710 is a single-phase plug-in voltage quality recorder that can help maintenance and facilities personnel in utilities, industrial environments and large service organisations to maintain the power quality essential to business operations.

Built to withstand harsh work environments, and starting at under £3k, the new thermal imagers are designed as a complete, effective and easy-to-use thermal imaging solution for everyday troubleshooting and maintenance of electrical installations, electro-mechanical and process equipment, HVAC/R units and other industrial and electrical equipment.

The new 17th Edition of the wiring regulations are expected to be implemented from 1st June 2008. There are a significant number of changes and upgrades to the current 16th Edition regulations, including alignment to international standards. One change in the testing requirement within the 17th Edition is changes to insulation test limits for SELV and PELV circuits. It is therefore essential that installers ensure that the test equipment they are using, and which they intend to purchase, is ready for use with the new regulations. Fluke is offering a money-saving Fluke 289/FVF Combo Kit which bundles FlukeView Forms software with the latest Fluke 289 true-rms Industrial Logging Multimeter for diagnosing problems in electronics, plant automation, power distribution and electromechanical equipment.

Fluke has announced the new Fluke 287 and Fluke 289 true-rms logging multimeters. They incorporate advanced data logging and TrendCapture to help track down problems faster than before: TrendCapture also helps during preventive and predictive maintenance. An extra-large, quarter-VGA dot matrix display shows results graphically, backed by an enhanced user interface with on-board help (i-info key) and soft-key interface. Both meters can log multiple sessions unattended in the field: these results can then be reviewed without a PC.

To purchasers of the Fluke Ti20 Thermal Imager, Fluke is offering either a free Fluke 87V/i410 Combo Kit or a free Fluke 337 Clamp Meter, together with a free thermal imaging DVD. The Fluke Ti20, with full radiometric imaging, is the ideal thermal imager to quickly identify potential problems in industrial applications such as distribution panels, switchgear and motors.

For a limited period, Fluke is offering a free Fluke LVD2 Volt Light to purchasers of a Fluke 561 Multipurpose Thermometer.
