Thermo Fisher Scientific Enhances Pathology Portfolio

Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. today announced that its pathology product line-up now includes offerings from Raymond A. Lamb, a 45-year old British medical product manufacturer it recently acquired. Thermo Scientific products now span the spectrum of pathology applications from grossing, histology, cytology and immunohistochemistry to autopsy and necropsy. The Raymond A. Lamb range, which include the newest cassette labeler PrintMate and on-demand slide labeler SlideMate, offers customers a new line of cassette labeling, slide labeling and tracking systems that improve the quality of results in the lab.
Thermo Fisher will integrate Raymond A. Lamb’s comprehensive range of medical, histological and associated products into its Thermo Scientific pathology portfolio. The combined portfolio will enable customers to enjoy the benefits of an enhanced product range that encompasses cancer detection, disease diagnosis and investigations.
