The BOA range of smart vision systems from DALSA with its small 44 mm cube form factor, IP67 rated housing and built-in image processing is ideally suited for a host of industrial processes due to its small size and versatility. New for Total will be a colour version of BOA. All versions of BOA feature a full suite of vision tools based on the popular iNspect software, which can be configured using a standard web browser. The software offers excellent inspection capabilities that can be readily used across a multitude of applications. It provides capabilities for an extensive range of inspection tasks, such as positioning, identification, code reading, verification, measurement and flaw detection.
The IPD Vision Appliance range is a compact vision system which contains all the image processing power in a rugged, DIN mountable enclosure. Small camera heads are located at the measurement point in the process while the controller is readily integrated into factory environments alongside other automation controllers. The VA range features 10 different models offering a choice of camera types, image resolutions, number of cameras accommodated, storage memory and measurement software, providing the flexibility for a host of applications in industries as diverse as Automotive, Consumer, Electronics, Packaging, Pharmaceutical and more.
A dedicated display of high speed cameras will include DALSA’s new Falcon VGA300 HG, 1M120 HG, and 1.4M100 HG and cameras with frame rates up to 10, 000 fps. Applications include identifying faulty parts on high-speed production lines to ensure that these are rejected, as well as fault finding on mechanisms within process machinery that are moving too fast to be analysed by the human eye.
