Sensor Upgrade Delivers Up To 40 fps At Exceptional Sensitivity, With 1.2 Megapixels And NIR
Adept Electronic Solutions introduces the Sony ICX-445 CCD sensor made to upgrade a selection of iDS' uEye camera models.
With a resolution of 1280 x 960 pixels, the 1/3 sensor combines a very high frame rate with outstanding light sensitivity. More impressively, in the near-infrared range, the Sony sensor is exceptionally sensitive.

Compared with the proven ICX-205 1/2 version, the new sensor provides about TWICE the sensitivity and up to TWICE the frame rate. Cameras with USB interface capture up to 25 frames-per-second. However the GigE uEye SE and the robust IP65/67-rated GigE uEye RE cameras deliver up to 28 frames-per-second. The UI-6140-HE GigE camera, currently iDS's highest performer achieves frame rates up to 40 frames-per-second.

Applications include such diverse deployments such as GigE cameras keeping a close eye on quality in underbody vehicle inspection and contributing to the efficiency of solar wafers in power generation through to heavy-duty ruggedized USB cameras checking quality in production machinery

Available, from Adept electronic Solutions, in both colour and monochrome versions, this sensor is used in the iDS USB standard-housing SE ; the IP65/67- ruggedised RE and the GigE models.

Software support

All camera models fitted with the ICX-445 sensor are supported by driver version 3.60 and higher. The latest software package is available from Adept at no cost. Please contact us
