The introduction of Wonderware Archestra Direct Connect enables the powerful and reliable remote notification features of WIN-911 to deliver ArchestrA alarms to phones, email and pagers. Importantly, the Archestra feature is designed for use with all three models of WIN-911: Basic, PRO and WIN-911/Lite – meeting the needs of both small and large organisations.
The addition of Archestra Direct Connect complements a host of connectivity options already available from WIN 911, making the software the most advanced in industry. These include GE-Fanuc (Proficy iFIX), Rockwell Automation (RSView32, FactoryTalk), Wonderware (InTouch) - as well as supporting generic OPC - the standard for robust real-time data transfer between different software modules - and DDE.
Also increasing the functionality of WIN-911 V7.10 are new 2-way SMS mobile and group email functions. Field personnel are equipped with the tools to stay informed and react quickly to alarm conditions using the new 2-way SMS available with WIN-911/PRO and Mobile-911 for smart phones. The convenience of this function is matched by the support of WIN-911 V7.10 for group Email of a single alarm event. Here, the user simply creates a text file with all the email addresses and WIN-911 sends the relevant emails when the alarm occurs.
“WIN-911 is the ideal alarm software to enable managers and operators to be aware of problems in their plant, anywhere, anytime - and. with these new features it is now better than ever,” said Paul Hurst of P4A.
WIN-911 is a real-time software that can be used with pagers, cell phones, landline phones and most wireless communications. It works with a company’s existing control software or SCADA system to monitor operations and notify personnel of problem conditions – a process that can save time, money, and unnecessary anxiety.
The ability to monitor operations and notify personnel of problem conditions, including offsite notifications by automated voice telephone call, SMS text message and paging, makes Win-911 applicable across the widest range of industries: Water & Wastewater, Power Plants, Oil & Gas, Automotive, Semiconductor, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing and Building Management & Security.
