Near Infrared Linescan Camera From STEMMER IMAGING

The XLIN 1.7 series feature InGaAs linear photodiode arrays, produced in-house at Xenics, with a choice of 128, 256 or 512 pixel resolution. InGaAs sensors are cost effective to manufacture and allow small camera dimensions. Operating over a wavelength range of 0.9 -1.7 microns, the sensors offer excellent linearity and low noise performance.

The sensors are equipped with a novel third generation multiplexer that reduces the dark current of the device, allowing longer integration times. Peltier cooling with a temperature stabilization circuit is optionally available to allow even greater integration times. They come in a hermetically sealed package with anti-reflection coated windows ensuring their suitability for industrial applications.

The camera is available in USB 2.0 and CameraLink data transfer versions, with line rates up to 3 KHz over USB and up to 9 KHz over CameraLink, subject to the computer performance. The camera is delivered with X-Control software that offers direct access to various camera settings such as exposure time, gain settings and operating temperature. It also allows data acquisition and display to be set to 12 or 16-bit.
