Low Profile High-g Shock Accelerometer

Measurement Specialties has introduced the new Model 3700 accelerometer for impact, structural and transient shock testing.
This MEMS piezoresistive shock accelerometer was specifically designed for use in impact and shock testing environments and is packaged in a rugged stainless steel housing.
The accelerometer is available in ranges from ±2000g to ±6000g and is ideal for long duration shock transient measurements. The accelerometer incorporates mechanical over-range stops that offers shock protection to >10,000g. A PFA jacketed cable, with customer selected cable length, provides reliable operation in transient environments.
The underlying MEMS technology and innovative design of the Model 3700 stems from Measurement Specialties, Inc. research and vibration design facilities in Fremont and Aliso Viejo, California.
