The compact device can be permanently mounted onto equipment and data is collected by its eight input channels over an existing wireless network. Acceleration, velocity, temperature and bearing condition data can be automatically uploaded for viewing and analysis in the SKF Machine Suite. The software system can be installed and ready to use in three simple steps, reducing installation times and costs still further. Firstly, the SKF Wireless Configuration Utility is used to configure the hardware to talk to the wireless network. Access points, alarm parameters and other data points can then be designed and set up using the SKF Wireless Database Builder, and, subsequently, data is automatically uploaded to the SKF Machine Suite for viewing, analysis and reporting.
