Test instrument manufacturer Seaward Electronic Ltd. has introduced a new checkbox to verify the in-service performance of portable appliance testers.

Fluke has introduced the Fluke 566 and Fluke 568 Thermometers, which feature advanced infrared (IR) temperature measurement functionality, a menu-based user interface and a graphical display to enable users to take even complex measurements quickly and easily and from greater distances. Both rugged, handheld thermometers combine contact and non-contact temperature measurement capability in one single, easy-to-use tool, providing a total temperature measurement solution for industrial, electrical and maintenance professionals.

SKF has launched a dual laser infrared thermometer, which makes it simple to test the temperature of objects quickly and accurately. Called the TMTL 2400K, the device can be used either as a non contact thermometer, using the in-built infrared detector, or a contact thermometer, using a compatible probe, enabling the temperature of objects to be measured in hot, hazardous or hard to reach areas, without risking the safety of maintenance personnel.

A new online web demonstration features the HazardWatch™ Integrated Fire & Gas Detection System from General Monitors, which sets the industry standard for highly intelligent safety monitoring solutions designed to help process and plant engineers protect their operations, equipment and staff from fire and combustible gases.

Fluke has introduced the Fluke 353 and Fluke 355 true-RMS Clamp Meters for accurate readings up to 2000A in industrial and utility applications, without the need to disconnect equipment. The rugged design and CAT IV 600V/CAT III 1000V safety ratings offer excellent protection in high voltage applications, enabling the checking of new installations, troubleshooting and the taking of accurate measurements on UPS and variable frequency drives with noisy loads.
