Variohm EuroSensor has added two new weighing indicators to its existing range of sensors for monitoring load, that offer OIML and CE approval plus a host of features and options for commercial and industrial weighing applications. Suiting both scale and process weighing tasks, the new 20i and 22i series can be configured with a choice of 6-digit LCD or LED displays. 

When looking for a solution to measure a process involving a solution of water and formic acid, a customer in need approached Bell Flow to assist. The customer required a solution for dispensing specific amounts of formic acid solution for use in their drain cleaning products. After a meeting with the client, Bell Flow Systems discussed their current process and their desired changes. The most appropriate solution was to install a complete system of batch control for formic acid.

The B3100 is explosion-proof in accordance with ATEX, IECEx, FM and CSA c-us.

A high-performance ground tester for measuring ground electrode resistance and soil resistivity has been released by Megger. The DET2/3 delivers accurate results in the harshest environments. Ideal for a wide range of applications, ranging from taking accurate measurements on communications ground systems to performing archaeological and geological investigations, this new ground tester is easy to use. 

An essential requirement for the control of many manufacturing processes is the flow measurement of liquids, because accurate control improves efficiency and guarantees quality. Whilst there are a number of different technologies available, when high accuracy is the requirement the Coriolis flowmeter has so far been the default choice. However, the development of Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) technology for use in flowmeters has presented a challenger in the market with potentially a host of additional benefits.

Bell Flow Systems was approached regarding a rather challenging task of glucose flow measurement. A production line specialist needed a solution for controlling the glucose flow measurement in a newly built processing plant for a large, UK based soft drinks manufacturer.
