Phidgets Inc. released today the 1120 - FlexiForce Adapter to make it easy for users to connect the popular Tekscan FlexiForce force sensors to their PC.

Specialist electrochemical sensor manufacturer Analytical Technology Inc announces that Britvic Soft Drinks has selected its A15/81 monitor to accurately test Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S) levels in finished bottled products. The innovative A15/81 is the only system that can monitor soluble H2S in water on a real time basis and enables Britvic to monitor their water bottling facility for hydrogen sulphide accurately and in compliance with strict legislation.

The Meggitt group is making the transition to a new structure comprising five operating divisions: Meggitt Sensing Systems, Meggitt Aircraft Braking Systems, Meggitt Control Systems, Meggitt Polymers & Composites and Meggitt Equipment Group. Based on core capabilities, this is designed to build stronger, more integrated operating divisions. The transition should be completed in 2010.

Water treatment applications place high demands on pressure and level measuring instruments. For these applications, Baumer offers robust sensors which are suitable for high vibrations as well as for the use with aggressive media. Phidgets Inc. released today the 1135 - Precision Voltage Sensor; the 1135 replaces the 1123 - Precision Voltage Sensor. The new sensor is substantially more accurate and can measure voltages from -30 to +30V with a typical error of ±0.7%.
