Smallest Strain Sensor with Highest Resolution

Smallest Strain Sensor with Highest Resolution
With the strain sensor DSRT, Baumer offers a sensor for indirect force measurement which can be used in the packaging industry, engineering, wind energy plants and many other industrial applications. The DSRT is the smallest strain sensor with the highest resolution (0.01 µε) available on the market. It is offered with measuring ranges from 0…100 µε up to 0…750 µε (micro strain: µm/m).

Smart Alternative to Vibrating Fork Level Switches

Smart Alternative to Vibrating Fork Level Switches
With the level switch LBFS, Baumer offers a cost-efficient and reliable alternative to widely-used vibration level switches. The device is able to detect the level of viscous or dry substances as well as liquids and can be mounted in any position in tanks or pipelines. The sensor is unaffected by flow, turbulence, bubbles, foam, and suspended solids. As the sensor head is smooth and very small, even adhesive media do not stick to it. The sensor’s short response time enables fast filling processes as well as an accurate and reliable keeping of levels.

Pressure Transmitter PBSR for Railway Applications

Pressure Transmitter PBSR for Railway Applications
With the PBSR, Baumer’s PB series includes a new pressure transmitter suitable especially for railway applications. It features a wide compensated temperature range from -50 °C to +85 °C with a total error band of only 1 %. Therefore, it can also be used in braking systems of trains at very low ambient temperatures. Thanks to the high dielectric insulation (1000 V, 50 Hz, 1 minute) the transmitter does not need to be dismounted for dielectric tests on the train.

Gassonic Observer Ultrasonic Gas Detector Protects Gas Compressor Stations

Gassonic Observer Ultrasonic Gas Detector Protects Gas Compressor Stations
The Gassonic Observer Ultrasonic Gas Detector is a breakthrough solution for detecting fugitive gas leaks in compressor stations. It is a non-concentration based gas detector used to detect leaks from high-pressure systems. It responds to the airborne ultrasound generated from gas releases in open, well ventilated areas. Since the Gassonic Observer responds to the source of a gas release rather than the dispersed gas, it is unaffected by changing wind directions, gas dilution and the direction of the gas leak.
