VPInstruments makes selecting the right mass flow meter easy!

VPInstruments makes selecting the right mass flow meter easy!
VPInstruments has changed the design of her proprietary flow sensor. Due to this new flow sensor design and a review of our calibration protocol, we offer now our insertion flow meters with one flow range; with good accuracy over the entire flow range. This flow range combines the accuracy in the low flow ranges of the old version with flow range up to 80 mn/sec, with the flow range extension of our model up to 150 mn/sec. The new flow range, 0.5..150 mn /sec, combines all benefits. With only one model you are now equipped for all your compressed air and gas flow measurements. Selecting the right flow meter has never been so easy!

Fujitsu Selects Cypress' TrueTouch Touchscreen for F-04B Mobile Phone

Fujitsu Selects Cypress' TrueTouch Touchscreen for F-04B Mobile Phone
Cypress Semiconductor Corp. announced that Fujitsu Limited has selected Cypress's TrueTouch(tm) solution to implement the touchscreen in the world's first separable handset from NTT DOCOMO, the docomo PRIME series F-04B mobile phone. The new phone leverages Cypress's CY8CTMG200 controller to power the robust multitouch interface with a slim 9.8-mm form-factor that can operate separately from the keyboard. By detaching the phone's keyboard from the display, users can easily send e-mails, watch TV broadcasts or search address books using the touchscreen interface while talking on the baseband.

RotorFlow Sensors Combine Continuous Fluid Flow Sensing with Visual Indication

RotorFlow Sensors Combine Continuous Fluid Flow Sensing with Visual Indication
Gems Sensors & Controls, introduces the RFO type of the RotorFlow Series of fluid flow sensors. RFO stands for “RotorFlow Output”, and is designed for flow rate monitoring or metering applications. RotorFlow RFO type sensors provide a pulsed DC voltage output that is proportional to the rate of flow. The 4.5 to 24VDC pulsed output is easily integrated into most digital logic units. What makes RotorFlow sensors unique is the highly visible paddlewheel that provides verification at a glance to confirm that fluids are moving. Typical applications for RotorFlow RFO type sensors include water purification, dispensing systems, chemical metering, laser and welders, semiconductor processing, water injection systems, and chillers and heat exchangers.

Compact piezoelectric force washer expands PACEline range

Compact piezoelectric force washer expands PACEline range
HBM has expanded its CFW series of piezoelectric force washers with a 20 kN version to meet the demand for measuring lower nominal (rated) forces. The latest force washer has a diameter of just 14.5 mm and a height of 7 mm making it very compact in relationship to its nominal force. This allows it to be easily integrated in applications, even where very little space is available.

EAS®-Sensor incorporates unique innovation

EAS®-Sensor incorporates unique innovation
Safety clutches provide precise torque limiting to ensure that the loads on components in machines and facilities do not exceed allowable levels. Up to now they have required an external limit switch and associated cable to send a signal to the controller if an overload situation occurs. The new EAS®-Sensor safety clutch with integrated signal transmitter developed by mayr® Antriebstechnik sends the overload signal wirelessly. This revolutionary and absolutely reliable overload sensing system has considerable advantages compared with conventional signal transmission.
