Deeter Electronics announce the latest addition to their ground breaking Wireless Sensor System for industrial monitoring. The market leading international company, specialists in the design, development and manufacture of electronic sensors and control systems, has introduced a new Multi-Channel Wireless Sensor System for more complex installations. The new system permits the monitoring of greater numbers of remote devices than was previously possible and can display the state of up to eight analogue sensors and up to thirty two switched inputs.

Inertial Aerosystems have introduced a new high performance micromachined angular rate sensor primarily for demanding military applications. Designated the QRS116, it is manufactured by U.S. based Systron Donner Inertial (SDI). It offers improved noise, faster start up and unprecedented angular random walk and in run bias stability.

Gefran has launched its new ONP1-A magnetostrictive linear position sensor range that features the sensor and automation specialists recently patented ONDA magnetic sensitive element measurement system.

Variohm EuroSensor has launched a new range of heavy duty, sealed linear position sensors for extreme operational environments. The new LWX series from Novotechnik builds upon the successful LWG rod actuated potentiometric design with additional sealing to IP67 protection rating and features a new patented pressure equalisation technology that prevents 'pump effect' pressure build up.

Electro-Sensors, Inc. announces the ST420, a loop-powered, stainless steel analog shaft tachometer. The ST420 requires no user calibration, providing a dependable shaft speed monitoring solution right out of the box. The rugged, compact ST420—only 18mm in diameter—reliably detects magnetic pulses from a rotating shaft-mounted pulser disc or wrap. Then, the ST420 uses quartz crystal-based digital processing to convert pulses to a smooth, continuous 4-20mA analog signal directly proportional to the pulse frequency. The result is a plug-and-play solution that allows users to accurately and simply monitor rotating shaft speed in industrial applications.

By incorporating the second generation “in-cell” amplifier (ICA) from LCM Systems, engineers can convert a strain gauge input to a voltage or a current output. This high performance, sub-miniature amplifier can be used for internal amplification of strain gauge based load cells, pressure transducers or torque transducers.

Analytical Technology Inc. announces that it has added 24VDC powered and digital options of the Profibus DP (Decentralised Peripherals) standard across its full range of monitors, including its extensive chlorine range, in response to customer demand. The addition of Profibus DP standard to Analytical Technology’s monitors enables water and wastewater treatment plants to optimise maintenance and achieve a high level of confidence in chlorine measurements.

Deeter Electronics, announces the introduction of a Wireless Router to increase the range and reliability of their recently launched Deeter Wireless Sensor System for industrial measurement and control.
