Precise splitting and regulation through block valves

In industrial applications that contain central fluid supply systems, the main line must be split into partial flow lines. Block valves of the VSB series from Meister Stömungstechnik execute this task in a very reliable manner. Through an integrated needle valve, a defined portion of the fluid is withdrawn from the main line. The block valves can be employed in single or multiple unit configurations. The multiple units are factory assembled and can consist of up to 12 individual blocks. The maximum volume flow for a multiple unit assembly should not exceed 75 l/min, while the maximum volume flow for a single block should not exceed 25 l/min.

The partial flow lines can be monitored with different monitoring devices. Devices with a display facilitate this precise adjustment and allow for visual monitoring of the fluid. Together with a switch contact or an analog transmitter, also electronic monitoring is possible.

For monitoring oil, viscosity compensated flow monitors are particularly well suited, for example the type series DKG or DKM/A from Meister Strömungstechnik, that can also measure precisely the flow rate in case of viscosity changes in a range from 30-600 cSt. In combination with these the volume flow block valves are often used for central lubrication units. For applications that monitor water, the type series DUG or DUM/A are suited perfectly.

Volume block flows are available in aluminium- or stainless steel versions. The maximum operating pressure of the standard version is 16 bar and the maximum operating temperature is 100° C. Special versions are available upon request.
