IPUC 2011 - ‘Adapting Pumping Systems For An Era of Limited and Expensive Power’

In the past pumping systems were designed taking into account the old realities of abundant and relatively cheap electricity. Production stability and reliability was king. Now power supply is limited, unreliable and increasingly expensive. IPUC 2011 will focus on latest developments around the world designed to address this new environment and how to modify existing systems without incurring a crippling financial burden. Particular emphasis will be placed on the utilities – water and electricity – where the World in general and Africa in particular, face impending crises of supply and infrastructure failure, with vast implications for health and quality of life. We all know that the end result should be pumping systems facilitating lower production costs and higher profits for the operator, together with less pressure on both electricity supply capacity and the environment, but how do we get there? Join us at IPUC 2011 to find out!

Flowline flow switch & control for liquid & air/gas

Flowline's liquid and gas flow switches are simple devices that are used to detect or monitor flow and send a signal or alarm to another device. They are useful tools in situations where it is important to know whether or not flow exists and to act upon that knowledge (for example they can be used to actuate a signal when flow stops, start a motor with flow, shut off an alarm when flow is adequate or stop a motor with no flow).
