Herga Technology has expanded and improved its economic light industrial duty footswitch range with two new single pole switching models that offer increased temperature range to -20 to +80⁰ in addition to IPX7 ingress protection. The 6219 and 6229 series are aimed at foot-operated input control for office equipment, domestic appliances and light industrial machinery with up to 3A and 250V AC/DC maximum electrical ratings and an SPCO contact configuration. 

Groundbreaking software to manage the tube bending process from programming to production is being launched by Unison - the pioneers of all-electric CNC tube bending technology. Its latest software tools package provide significant progress in three areas: simulation, machine programming flexibility, and data collection. Renishaw's proven HS20 laser encoder system has been upgraded and is now able to achieve a new maximum speed of 2 m/s for large machine tool applications. Previously the system, which can deliver an accuracy of ±1 µm/m for axis lengths up to 60 m, was limited to 1 m/s but through improvements to the electronic design it has been possible to double the speed performance.
