Manufacturing Execution System for Industry 4.0

Critical Manufacturing launched their new version 7 of their modern Manufacturing Execution System (MES) for I4.0. V7 adds exciting, futuristic and valuable features to MES recognised for its I4.0-ready, highly adaptable and user-friendly design. The V7 comprises of four modules:

1. Augmented Reality
CM Augmented Reality (AR) plays an important role in reaching Industry 4.0 goals by increasing the efficiency and reliability of manufacturing operations. CM Augmented Reality enables employees to see exactly what needs to be done and how to complete the task, supporting even less experienced staff in flawless execution. The productivity gains available are unlimited, as anything inside MES or available through a connection to MES, can be viewed over a live camera shot of the real product, process, line or facility area. Until now, AR applications have focused mainly on guiding maintenance activities. CM AR does that, but also goes much deeper into the shop floor!

2.Experiments Management
Critical Manufacturing MES V7 introduces a new advanced module for Experiments Management to make Design of Experiments with multiple input variables easier, more efficient and better controlled. The module enables engineers to both design and execute an experiment, exactly as designed, in an integrated manner. Engineers can fully define, carry out and explore a variety of experiments with multiple variables to achieve optimum process performance. They can also collaborate to iterate and fine-tune in the environment they deal with every day.

3. Weigh and Dispense
Precise ingredients are the backbone of safe and consistent recipe-based products, including combination Medical Devices. Weigh and dispense supports manufacturers in complying with strict FDA, EU or other regulations to ensure the safety of products for good patient outcomes. The regulations require that manufacturers have complete traceability of both the discrete device and the corresponding batch components pertaining to the drug, coating, or active ingredients in a finished device.

4. BI Cards
Critical Manufacturing MES provides manufacturers in demanding discrete industries a platform for Industry 4.0 success. It delivers reliable access to detailed and timely operational information with full context and intelligence for fast, confident decisions and profitable action. Whether plants use traditional technologies or Industry 4.0 distributed intelligence, the Critical Manufacturing MES is ready to foster progress and improvement. Users can readily configure, distribute and use workflows and screen
