CNC lathes demonstrated under power will be a new, 3-turret, twin-spindle, double Y-axis turning centre, called TD42 Triplex, and a PD-series hard-turning lathe capable of 0.4 micron repeatability when machining HRc65 material.
From Spinner's machining centre range, the powerful, rigid MVC1000 vertical-spindle model will be cutting demonstration components, as will the universal, 5-axis U5-1520 with Heidenhain control, intended for six-face, finished production.
Machining centres from Whitehouse Machine Tools' long-established agency range of Brother high-speed, vertical-spindle models will also be in evidence, some fitted with auto loading. They will include the long-bed, moving-table S2DN automated by a Naichi MR20 6-axis robot, and a fixed-table 32BN-FT equipped with a high-speed (100 rpm) Sankyo 5-axis rotary table, fed by a 75-pallet System 3R Workpal pallet change system.
