PAT Seminars Explain New IET Code Of Conduct

Electrical safety testing specialist Seaward Electronic is organising a series of seminars to explain the implications of the IET’s new Code of Practice for the In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment.
The morning seminars are planned for the following locations:
4th February – Belfast
5th February – Glasgow
6th February – Durham
7th February – Manchester
8th February – Nottingham
11th February – Birmingham
12th February – Bristol
13th February – London Heathrow

The new IET Code of Practice is of relevance to all those portable appliance testing contractors, service engineers and facilities and safety managers with a responsibility for workplace safety under the Electricity At Work Regulations 1989.

A new and updated IET Code is due to be published in the New Year and the extended version will take into account test technology advances and the implications of other changes in relation to in-service electrical safety testing.

Portable appliance test specialists from Seaward will explain the full details and implications of the changes and all delegates to the seminars will also receive a free copy of Seaward’s revised guide to Portable Appliance Testing.
