The Industrial and Process Divisions of Parker domnick hunter, part of Parker Hannifin, will be exhibiting filtration, separation and purification solutions at this year’s Drinktec exhibition in Munich. In particular, the company will be showing a range of systems designed to help sparkling drinks manufacturers protect and improve the quality of their products, enhance the productivity and performance of their process lines and reduce the costs of key gases.

The Parker domnick hunter product range includes products and systems for use in filtration, purification, clarification and polishing applications, and is supported by a global network of technical and customer support services.

Of particular interest at Drinktec will be the latest PCO2 Carbon Dioxide polishing systems, which have been developed to preserve and guarantee the quality of gaseous carbon dioxide used in sparkling beverages. The system incorporates multilayer gas polishing technology, and can be configured for use in production plant, fountain and beer dispense applications.

The company will be launching its MGD Mixed Gas Dispense unit at the show which will present visitors with an easy, convenient solution for nitrogen and carbon dioxide blended gas, for beer, wine and soft drink syrup dispense.

Using Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) technology the MGD system produces clean, dry, high purity nitrogen from compressed air and when connected to a carbon dioxide cylinder, produces mixed blends of carbon dioxide and nitrogen in a number of pre-determined ratios to ensure a quality beverage with minimal cost and maximum convenience.

The unit will be fully operational on the Parker domnick hunter stand, so visitors can see and taste for themselves.

In addition, the company will be showing systems capable of reducing the cost of gas generation by up to 90%, when compared to the use of traditional bulk storage or bottled gas. In particular, the company’s self contained and compact nitrogen and hydrogen generation units provide a cost effective, safe and efficient method of producing high purity gas on demand and at the point of use, making them ideal for laboratory and production applications.

Parker domnick hunter will also be exhibiting a range of process filters using advanced PES membrane, polypropylene and activated carbon technologies to produce superior removal and absorption rates, combined with a long, trouble-free operating life.

At the show, the company will demonstrate its partnership approach to filtration via the Ep3 process. Environment, Product and Process Protection (Ep3) is a process which aims to deliver customer value from source to bottle and helps optimise process efficiency and product quality for continuous long-term benefits. From understanding customer goals to assessing current operations, the process identifies opportunities and delivers agreed initiatives through innovative products and dedicated technical support.

Finally, the company will exhibit its latest systems for cleaning and drying compressed air. These products offer extremely low operating and maintenance costs and include the easy to install PNEUDRI MiDAS desiccant air dryers, which offer end users high levels of performance from a dedicated point of use, plus the OIL-X EVOLUTION high efficiency compressed air filters. OIL-X incorporates both coalescing filter grades for the removal of water and oil aerosols, solid particulates and micro-organisms, and dust filter grades for the elimination of dry particulate and micro-organisms.
