Anark will demonstrate Anark CoreTM, a unique software platform that dramatically reduces repetitive CAD file conversion and preparation tasks, enabling efficient interoperability between producers and consumers of CAD data. Anark Core version 1.1 provides users with design-feature removal capabilities (parts, holes, fillets), then exports modified CAD data into high-precision BREP and lightweight mesh file formats including CATIA V4/V5, Parasolid, Pro/E, STEP, Unigraphics, IGES, Collada, DWF, X3D, and VRML.
“Anark’s history working with leading manufacturing enterprises such as Boeing, Cessna, Lockheed Martin, and Pratt & Whitney has given us considerable experience overcoming major obstacles that prevent collaboration and interoperability,” said Stephen Collins, President and CEO of Anark Corporation. “The Anark Core Platform has been specifically designed to facilitate cost effective and automated product data preparation and sharing for a wide array of data exchange, collaboration, and visual-simulation applications. Now, Longview Advisors is providing us with the perfect venue to display our solution to a wide array of key industry representatives.”
“Now in its fourth year, the 3D Collaboration & Interoperability conference continues to tackle some of the most pressing issues in of the modern manufacturing world,” offered Longview Advisors’ Conference Chair David Prawel. “Incompatibility between Multi-CAD design tools greatly inhibits collaborative efforts, resulting in huge amounts of wasted time – bad news for any lean initiative. We’re excited Anark is a sponsor of our event, as they clearly understand this complex problem and are working diligently to provide viable solutions based upon established industry needs.”
