Major advances in open industrial communications will greet visitors to the CLPA (CC-Link Partners Association) booth, Hall 6 Number 122, at the SPS/IPC/Drives Fair. These will include a new Field Programmable Gate Array solution and the launch of CC-Link Energy.

With 1,520 exhibitors from 39 countries and a total of 84,000 m2 net exhibition space, this year’s EuroBLECH, held from 23 – 27 October 2012 at the Hanover Exhibition Centre, is set to be record breaking. The event has increased by 5% in exhibitor numbers and by 7% in exhibition space compared to the previous exhibition held in 2010.

Eaton Corporation will present its latest highly-efficient and reliable products and solutions at this year's SPS IPC Drives exhibition in Nuremberg, Germany. Eaton offers a complete, worldwide solutions portfolio for machine building and system building and will showcase its newest electrical engineering and hydraulics developments at stand 371 in Hall 9 of the exhibition centre from 27 - 29 November, 2012.

IDAC is hosting a Simulation Open Day for Engineering Professionals interested in finding out about the latest simulation software and techniques. This event will exhibit the capabilities of using simulation in an engineering environment and aims to be informative and interactive.

STEMMER IMAGING’s first UK Open Day proved to be a resounding success, with around 120 guests spending a very enjoyable day at its UK head quarters. A stimulating seminar programme provided 40 presentations delivered across 8 sessions throughout the day, with a choice of 5 tracks in each session. Indeed In-Tech 2012 will introduce three new machines – the world’s fastest bending cell, a highly affordable fibre guided laser machine for thin sheet processing and a brand new compact automation solution.

The International Society of Automation is pleased to announce the award winners for Best Paper, Best Presentation and Best Poster from its recently held 2012 ISA Water/Wastewater and Automatic Controls Symposium. Held in Orlando, Florida, USA on 7-9 August, the ISA Water/Wastewater Symposium delivered a robust program of more than 30 speakers who addressed the varied challenges of automation, instrumentation and SCADA in the municipal water and wastewater sectors.
