With demand for composite components continuing to grow in sectors such as aerospace, automotive, motorsport and energy, increasing numbers of machine shops are seeking support in terms of both solutions and knowledge. Rhydian Pountney, Renishaw's General Manager – ROW Sales Division, will co-chair the Technology Collaborations in Advanced Engineering Working Group of the annual India-UK Joint Economic and Trade Committee (JETCO) which takes place in London on 19th January. The meeting is part of a wider JETCO gathering that will be jointly chaired by Dr Vince Cable, UK Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills, and the Indian Minister of Commerce & Industry Nirmala Sitharaman.

Cadac Group Houston announced that Edwin Elmendorp, President of Cadac Group Americas, is set to lecture at the upcoming Autodesk University 2014 in Las Vegas, Nevada, which takes place December 2-4th, 2014. The lecture was chosen out of the thousands of topics that were submitted, because it focuses on the important issue of document control and engineering data management – a growing and potentially costly pain point for the oil and gas industry.

Renishaw will exhibit its latest range of additive-manufacturing machines and precision metrology systems at Euromold 2014. The world fair for moldmaking and tooling, design and application development will take place on November 25-28, at the exhibition centre in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Renishaw can be found in hall 11.0, on stand E128. The company’s products and technology will also be featured in several supporting stands.

Noise Sentinel Brüel & Kjær’s subscription-based noise management service will be on parade at - Noise Sentinel - at this year’s NCE Tunnelling Summit in London (Dec 3-4). The company’s acoustic experts will be on hand during the conference, taking place on December 3, so visitors can discuss their construction noise management issues and see a demonstration of the Noise Sentinel system.

FLIR Systems has announced its 15th Annual InfraMation Conference to be held May 12-15 2015 in Nashville, Tenneesee (USA).

TT Electronics will be demonstrating its latest hi-reliability sensing and calibration technologies at the Advanced Engineering UK show.  Visitors to the NEC will be also able to discover temperature, flow, pressure, and level sensing capabilities from the Roxspur (RM&C) portfolio featuring on TT Electronics’ stand B15.
