From 26 to 28 November 2019, one of the most important exhibitions for the automation industry will be held in Nuremberg: SPS. NORD DRIVESYTEMS will once again be presenting new products. The main focus is on an energy-efficient latest generation synchronous motor that considerably exceeds IE4, and on future-proof frequency inverters.

New for SPS this year, Altra Industrial Motion will be displaying its problem-solving products at its Innovation Corner in Hall 3, Stand 270. Focused on delivering operational benefits to operators of motor brakes, leading brand, Warner Electric, will showcase solutions that meet the current and future needs of the market, informed by the challenges faced by users in the field.

Belden will demonstrate at SPS 2019 how the company can support industrial network designers, installers and managers from sensor to the cloud for applications that save costs and time whilst delivering maximum productivity and up-time. The Belden booth will feature an application wall, highlighting the company’s vision of future industrial communication networks, based on multiple real applications - not just theoretical constructs. 

Schaffner will be presenting their latest innovations from their EMC, Power Quality and Power Magnetics divisions at SPS 2019. The new FN 3287/88 EMC filter series introduces innovations in 3-phase EMC filters and is now available with low leakage currents (<1mA) versions for general machine and plant construction. 

Sulzer will be presenting key technology trends and innovations in the energy sector on Stand 6150 at Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) 2019. As a one-stop-shop for advanced components, solutions and services for oil and gas separation processes, the company is leading the industry into the future.

iC-Haus will debut a 26-bit encoder signal processor iC-TW29 with integrated EEPROM at the SPS exhibition in Nuremberg (November 26-28). It is used for the evaluation of magnetic and optical sensors that generate sine and cosine signals.

Dustcontrol UK will be exhibiting a range of its high-performance extraction equipment at Advanced Engineering 2019, taking place on Wednesday, 30th and Thursday, 31st October at the NEC, Birmingham. The Dustcontrol team will be showcasing the firm’s extensive range of both fixed and mobile cyclone-based dust extractors and air cleaners at stand M116.

SPS Nuremberg represents KOLLMORGEN as a sign of complete drive solutions, including for the growing demand for collaborative robots and automated guided vehicles. The AKM2G-series servo motors were therefore also expanded for applications in the low-voltage sector. Also a topic at the three-day automation trade fair: the second-generation functional safety technology, which has found its way into the AKD2G series servo inverters.
