KASTO, has introduced a high performance, economically priced bandsaw optimised to extract the best possible performance from either a tungsten carbide tipped (TCT) blade or a bimetal blade. The KASTOwin pro AC 5.6 offers short cutting times, long blade life and intuitive operation. It is available in the UK and Ireland through the company’s Milton Keynes subsidiary, which will exhibit the machine for the first time at a MACH show.

  Once again set to return to Birmingham’s NEC (Halls 8, 9 and 10) from 10th -12th April 2018, the biennial co-located events; Plant & Asset Management, Drives & Controls, Smart Industry Expo, Fluid Power & Systems, and Air-Tech Exhibitions will be alongside MACH 2018.

Festo will be showcasing its new developments and solutions for smarter automation, at this year’s Drive’s & Controls Exhibition in the Smart Industry Expo. Festo will be presenting new developments and products in Industry 4.0 technology; as a user within their own production, as the leading provider of training equipment and courses and as an automation product manufacturer.

BETT 2018 will host RS Components’ innovation truck Titan II. The show celebrates, inspires and explores the role of technology and innovation in the future of education. RS will be joined by several leading partners at the show, including Richard Browning, founder of the human propulsion technology start-up Gravity.

  The launch of a new digital handheld magnifier at this year’s Southern Manufacturing & Electronics Show has been announced by global supplier, Vision Engineering. This year, the show is being held between 6th-8th February in the new exhibition centre at FIVE in Farnborough, UK. Vision Engineering can be found at stand H205.

Held in the Aberdeen Exhibition & Conference Centre, this year’s Subsea Expo will see igus showcasing its vast range of products and systems for subsea applications, at the event taking place from the 7-9th February. Visitors to the stand (stand 105) will see the giant E4 energy chain that can withstand exposure to ice, wind, storms, salt water, oil and drilling mud. It can also bear heavy loads and features easy-to-remove crossbars so cables and hoses can be added or replaced quickly.

Taking place from 9th-13th April at the NEC in Birmingham, this year’s MACH exhibition will see igus showcasing a wide range of cost-effective, lightweight and maintenance-free bearings and cable management systems for a variety of engineering applications. Developed to combine the advantages of the E2/000 and E4.1 energy chains in one product range, the E4.1L ‘lean’ features interior clip in slotted separators that provide up to an 80% assembly time saving.
