Continuing to set the industry standard for feedback of DC-Micromotors, FAULHABER now packs 50 lines per revolution into a 6 mm and 100 lines per revolution into an 8 up to 12 mm diameter package. Optimized for this application, a custom-designed codewheel maximizes the reflected light increasing the system’s efficiency and signal reliability. Applications requiring miniature motors with precision encoders will benefit from the use of the “world’s smallest integrated optical encoder”, delivering consistent, accurate, and high resolution results not attainable with magnetic encoders.
Complementing the FAULHABER range of 6mm+ DC-Micromotors the PA2-xx leading edge optical technology delivers an impressive 50 / 100 lines per revolution before quadrature. Operating between 2.7 to 3.3V DC, low-voltage battery applications continue running for longer with higher resolution and more robust feedback signal reliability. Improved battery life comes from a low-inertia codewheel and a batteryfriendly current draw of 8 / 8.5 mA.
