According to Ernst & Young LLP, the awards program recognizes entrepreneurs who demonstrate extraordinary success in the areas of innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. Cirone was selected as a finalist from nearly 55 nominations by a panel of independent judges. Award winners will be announced at a special gala event on June 9 at the Philadelphia Loews Hotel at 12th and Market Streets.
“To be nominated as a finalist for this prestigious award is truly an honor,” said Cirone. “My selection is attributable to the innovative, talented and hardworking team at Macron Dynamics. The entire company is truly committed to ensuring our products meet the highest manufacturing standards.”
Cirone, who founded Macron Dynamics in 1987, was selected for his track record of blending an entrepreneurial approach with creative engineering. He has successfully lead Macron Dynamics through numerous market changes and has strategically guided the company’s product offerings and manufacturing processes.
Today, Macron Dynamics manufactures a mix of both standard and custom linear motion products and systems designed to help customers improve productivity and reduce costs. As president, Cirone remains very much involved in the engineering and manufacturing processes that have positioned Macron Dynamics as a growing leader in the automation solutions industry.
If selected as a regional award winner, Cirone will be eligible for consideration for the Ernst & Young LLP Entrepreneur Of The Year national program. Award winners in several national categories, as well as the overall national Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year award winner, will be announced at the annual awards gala in Palm Springs, California on November 13, 2010. The awards are the culminating event of the Ernst & Young Strategic Growth Forum, the nation’s most prestigious gathering of high-growth, market-leading companies.
