Mclennan Servo Supplies has launched a new range of 5 and 10 A intelligent stepper drives from the California based motion control innovator Applied Motion Products. The new ST series microstepping drives are available in three competitively priced versions offering a wide choice of control options that includes step and direction input, encoder following, graphical point and click programming for simple machine sequencing, and high level ASCII host control for complex multi-axis motion and machine control.

Aerotech's new ARMS series rotary motion simulators provide highly accurate angular rates, acceleration and position profiles for inertial component test systems and instruments. The new simulators include a choice of slip ring assemblies and rotary unions for interfacing with the Unit Under Test (UUT) and are supplied with matched servo drives, motion controls and GUI motion design software. Haydon Switch & Instrument, Inc. (Haydon) is proud to announce that their size 23 hybrid linear actuators are now available with a 0.9 degree step angle. This new step angle is designed for higher resolution and allows for a full step linear movement of 0.0000625” (1.6 microns).
