Hylec-APL introduces quick mounting control stations

This registered design range of control stations is available exclusively from Hylec-APL and depending on product, offers up to IP67 protection, making them suitable for both outdoor domestic use and industrial applications where they may be subjected to wash-down environments. They have up to 5mm wall thickness which provides enough strength and protection to act as a substitute for metal enclosures in many situations.

The range contains a significant selection of push button and selector switch types from the latest EN418 EMERGENCY STOP units with twist or key operated release options to large dome top palm/foot operated switch stations. Red and green flush-head buttons units and standard/key selector switches are also included with many products also available in illuminated option. Many variations are possible pre-assembled to ensure that the control station meets each application’s operational and safety requirements and all switches are supplied with 1x N/O and 1xN/C contact block as standard.

With the exception of the Palm/Foot switch the control stations can also benefit from a unique and innovative time-saving snap-on bracket mounting feature. The brackets are available in DIN rail or chassis / wall mounting options and, because they are snap-on, do not compromise the IP rating of the Enclosure. Enclosures also incorporate vertical PCB mounting support slots as well as horizontal self tapping screw supports. They are delivered complete with 2 x M20 threaded cable gland entry.

Available in a range of flame retardant materials, including polycarbonate, each control station can be specified as a compact or deep base version. All products comply fully with ROHS and REACH standards.
